During the month of September 2018, Bord Bia will host a series of practical training workshops throughout Ireland to help improve the skills of both new and existing Farmers’ Market stallholders.
The half-day workshops, which will be delivered by Margaret Hoctor of Kilmullen Farm, are designed to help improve aspects such as stall management, selling & marketing, and costing & profits. The workshops offer practical training and an invaluable opportunity for existing and prospective producers to network and share ideas.
All workshops run from 9 am to 2 pm and will be held on the following dates:
1. Tuesday 4th September
Acton’s Hotel, Kinsale, Co. Cork
2. Wednesday 5th September
Airfield Estate, Dundrum, Co. Dublin
3. Tuesday 25th September
Coolbawn Quay, Lough Derg, Co. Tipperary
4. Wednesday 26th September
Knockranny House Hotel, Westport, Co. Mayo
The cost for the training workshop is €20 (incl. VAT) per person and is open to Irish food, seafood, drink and horticulture producers.
