2018 is the 10th year that Bord Bia and the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School have worked together on overseas programmes which merge academic learning with practical experience in order to support the growing Irish food industry.
The Bord Bia Marketing Fellowship programme contributes very positively to Ireland’s export success as it allows Irish food and drink companies access to new markets through a dedicated resource who can gather local insights to grow exports. Fellows actively identify key players in market, make vital connections and introductions for Irish suppliers and represent the supplier’s portfolio through a wide range of marketing methods. It has the potential to contribute anything from €10-20 million in additional sales for Irish food and drink companies over a three year period.
