Marketing Assistance Programme 2012

Bord Bia operates an annual grants programme - the Marketing Assistance Programme (MAP) - which is open to all Irish food, drink and horticulture producers which have a turnover in the range €100k and €3.5m. The aim of the programme is to help companies improve their marketing techniques and capabilities, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene.

Please note the following important points:

• Applications may be submitted from the 1st November 2011
• The closing date for receipt of applications is the 29th February 2012. Late applications will not be accepted
• Activities that are undertaken prior to the receipt of your application by Bord Bia, will not be eligible. Only activities that occur in 2012 will be eligible for support.
• Application forms should be completed electronically as an MS Word document and e-mailed back to jimmy.corr@bordbia.ie.
• Handwritten or hardcopy applications will not be accepted. Financial Accounts are also required and should preferably be submitted by e-mail, but may be posted if an electronic version is not available.
• Important: You are encouraged to submit an application as early as possible before the deadline date.
• If approved a grant, new or different eligible activities can be undertaken, provided you have informed Bord Bia of the changes in advance of the new activity taking place.
• The grant aid being sought under the Marketing Assistance Programme 2011 is provided in accordance with European Commission Regulation No. 1998/2006 on de minimis aid. Please ensure that you sign and complete  the de minimis Declaration Form (attached to the application form) and return it to Bord Bia together with your completed grant Application form.
